It is hard to believe this sweet boy ever found himself alone on the streets, but at just 9 weeks old that is where Sir Duke was discovered. Animal control picked him up, and Pet Assistance League knew he needed a second chance.
Now around 6 pounds and full of puppy energy, Sir Duke is a happy, playful little Frenchie who loves life and everyone in it. He is still a baby and is working on house training, but he is doing very well. He also sleeps through the night in a crate.
Sir Duke will need to be neutered and he also has cherry eye in both eyes. PALNC will take care of both procedures. These are relatively simple surgeries and he is not expected to have any long-term issues once they are repaired.
He has met cats and would love to play with them, although he cannot understand why they sometimes run from him. He also plays nicely with other small dogs.
Sir Duke has not been around children yet, but with his sweet temperament he will likely do well with gentle, respectful kids.
